probably never worn

I can't precisely date this particular hat, but it's a good guess that it's at least twenty years old, and a collector's item (only because there are people who will collect anything). I recently spoke with someone who promised me that Hashomer HaTzair is still going strong. I found it hard to believe, but that's hardly the issue here, since even if what he told me is true, hats of this sort are certainly not worn anymore.

Actually, I doubt that I ever wore it. I have others which I prefer by far. I can, however, certainly understand why I might save it. But because I don't collect items of this sort, I have no special place for keeping it. Making my socks drawer a good a place as any for it.
