As the only native English speaker of this particular group of students, most, if not all, of the writing of these pages fell on me. I didn't complain. I had an idea of what I wanted to write, and enjoyed the opportunity to do so.

Are MUDs and MOOs still relevant, either to education or to the internet in general? I doubt it. Their roots were in an educational milieu that today is only peripheral to the internet. Still, it was interesting studying them.
