Even after their last wear, viewed from above these were pretty much like any other sandals, though even from that angle they were definitely wearing out.


But it was when they were viewed from underneath that they seemed more like a Hollywood set - little more than a facade, with nothing substantial behind it. And the sandal on exhibit here is the one that still had a bit of sole still attached.


They'd definitely seen their last wear.
