getting paid for experience

It's one thing to love your work, and yet another to make a living from it. In the best of all possible worlds both are possible. To my dismay, this isn't the best of all possible worlds.

Trying to convince the proper channels in the Ministry of Education that I have a couple of degrees, along with a teaching degree, and numerous years of teaching experience within the school system has proven, over the past few years, to be a sisyphian task - each time I think that I'm getting somewhere I have to start over again.
