never tied a bow

Though I wear a tie only on Shabbat (and then only in the winter), I've tied enough ties in my life that I can do so with my eyes closed (or at least without looking in a mirror). Considering that I can't remember every buying a tie (I have a way of inheriting them from people who no longer want them) my guess is that I received this instruction sheet from my father many years ago. The opposite side gives instructions for tieing a regular tie which, as noted, I don't need. The side shown here, however, gives instructions for tieing a bow-tie - something that I don't know how to do, but occasionally, probably for Purim or something similar, might want to. That's probably the reason that these instructions are in my socks drawer - so that I can readily find them if and when I want to tie a bow-tie, though I doubt that the instructions will really help me if and when I need them.
