For what it's
worth, the books report that you're about 5-6 centimeters long and
that you weigh about 18 grams. Yes, I agree, that's close to nothing.
Still, the books also report that you have eyelids already. What's
more, your muscles are developing and you're moving around in the
uterus quite a bit. I'm not really claustrophobic, though I can't
say that I really enjoy being inside closed spaces for extended periods
of time. I hope that you don't have that sort of problem, because
you've got around 28 more weeks to go inside there before you come
out.
Usually we read that
fetuses really enjoy being inside the womb and that coming out into
the "real world" is a shocking experience. Though I'm
not one to say that our world is in such great shape I certainly
don't think that it's particularly cruel of us to bring you to it.
But that's still a long way off in the future, and for the time
being I hope that you're comfortable and making the most of your
rather tight quarters. When the time will come for you to make the
change and to become part of our world I certainly hope that you'll
have some sort of meaningful contribution to make. How do you like
that? At the moment you weight about 18 grams, meaning that you're
sort of like a big marble, and I'm already thinking about how you're
going to roll into the right hole, or hit other marbles and connect
with them into making a significant contribution to the world. Please
forgive me for doing this - as you'll learn, that's just the sort
of person I am.
