No news is good news. After your mother hadn't been feeing well through part of last week it's nice to report that you haven't been causing her any trouble at all throughout this week. It's very nice having a well-behaved fetus.

For about the past month your mother has been working with babies. We're lucky we live in a community where we can have contact with other babies and in that way get to know something about what you'll be like even before you arrive. And it's nice to know that your mother seems to have a knack for small creatures like you. Though I'm sure that we'll learn to get along with each other, I have to admit that when I try and picture myself handling you, somehow you always slip between my fingers and fall on the floor. Don't get upset - I've still got lots of time to go through the motions in my mind before I get it right.
